OGFZA’s new MD Rolls Out Seven Point Agenda

The New Managing Director of the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority, OGFZA, Alhaji Bamanga Usman Jada has promised to establish the Zones in all States of the Federation in Nigeria.

Alhaji Jada made the promise while assuming Office in Abuja.

He said the move became necessary for achieving the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu in the area of economic development.

“First and foremost, my gratitude is boundless towards God Almighty and the visionary leaders of our nation, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Honourable Minister of Industry Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzok Anite, for this unique opportunity. Their faith in me reminds me daily of the magnitude of the mission ahead by aligning with President Tinubu’s ambitious economic agenda, I envisage an expansive future for OGFZA. It is my firm intent to champion the establishment Oil and Gas Free Zones in every state of our great nation, both oil-producing a non-oil-producing” He stated.

According to him, this expansion aims to offer more investment avenue considering some of the nation’s current zones that face saturation from limited opportunities for fresh activities.

“Our unique positioning in the oil and gas sector, catering predominantly to international clientele, warrants advancements tailored to their needs. Recognizing this, I am committed to introducing offshore banking services, ensuring seamless, 24/7 international financial transactions, further cementing our position as a key global player in the industry” the New OGFZA MD explained.

Alhaji Jada pointed out that having stood strong for over two decades as the sole Oil and Gas Free Zone beaconing across the West African coast and Gulf of Guinea, the time is ripe for OGFZA to undergo a transformative rebranding.

“Our strategic approach will be simple, yet effective and our focus will be on the following key dimensions such as Efficiency and Trust, Infrastructure Excellence, Regulatory, and Modernization, Local Content Empowerment, Sustainability & Resilience,. Investor-focus, Welfare: and finally, but not the least, we will commit to prioritizing the welfare of all staff and I will be open to suggestions on improvement of our processes and procedures” Alhaji Jada stressed

He therefore advised the staff of the Authority to respond positively to changes he seek to reposition the Authority for more efficient performance.

” In the coming days, I will formally unveil to you my plans for a more result-driven OGFZA-driven by the 7- point pledge I have just highlighted” the Managing Director added
